how do you like the mixer? i have a VMC-004FX WHT, its pretty sweet, but i just dont like the placement of some stuff. i think im gonna go up to a pioneer DJM 500 or 600

I thought, "Oh right, if I categorically eliminate all other people, it's just me and her. She'd like that.

i was thinking the same thing, but only downside is no VU Meter on each channel, thats something i Love to have, it keeps me from buying a nuo 5, maybe in the future when im better at this, but otherwise, pioneer djm 500 or 600 is in my future

i LOVE the mixer sound is so crisp and great. id buy it for double what i paid for it (i paid 175USD). it doesnt have the effects like the FX WHT but i have no complaints yet and the layout is very intuitive for me.

yeah no problem, id love the Nuo 4, but i have no use for Midi, and it doesnt have effects or the independent VU Meters, and id die to have the Nuo 5, but it has no independant VU metres, theres one for the master output, and then one that is specifically for the PFL, or the track in cue, so i guess what you could do, if you're mixing only 2 tracks, and you often use the VU meter for "reassurance" like i do, is watch the master vu and vu for the track you're cueing, more than 2 tracks it gets difficult

Not really difficult... just check the two channels in cue seperately, set them where they need to be, and your good to go..

There is no good reason, right now, to buy a DJM-500 or 600, unless you're buying used. A used 600, fine. I've never been a fan of the 500, though.
I agree with you on the channel meters. Ecler really missed the boat on that one.
