Any idea why none of the techno promoters do a boat cruise? Would love to do a daytime boat with a solid techno lineup.

I've had my blinders on the past while and seem to be in the cycle of looking for stuff from the same people over and over.
Suggestions for some good techno/minimal techno? and not prog-disguised-as-minimal techno.
Been on a bit of a Sleeparchive / Cristian Vogel kick the past while. Really digging the tracks on Vogels Absolute Time - early minimal with a nice kick/thump to it. Sleeparchive stuff is a real throw-back to that era of sound also but with seemingly cleaner/better production. Aslo liked Robert Hoods Fabric mix - some moments on there get the sound I'm trying to get at.
Just seems to be an influx of proggy-ish sounding minimal, or too much of the bongo-y drum patterns - which is nice and all, but want something with a bit more of a harder-sounding edge and a bit faster tempo.

seriously, that'd be nice! Would have considered a road trip from Montreal for something like that (mind you those Piknic lineups are pretty sweet too)
I noticed the other day a boat cruise coming up in Paris with Surgeon and some others... looks good but not really in the mood to go the distance for it.
Not boat cruise related... but the techno booking I am probably looking forward to most right now is Jeff Mills playing a 3 hour set along with Bas Mooy at a small-ish club near Amsterdam in early September.. haven't seen him in awhile!
