DJ Download Slow ? I downloaded tracks at DJ Download faster than anywhere before (500 MB in ca. 15 minutes)

My vote goes to Beatport, although THIS is slow (20MB downloads take ca. 20 minutes - always.)


There are missing 3 shops:

ID&T Dance-Tunes
Slow and crappy interface, but not that bad in general, + you can buy bundles and get free downloads

iTunes
Not much dance/trance music yet and it has DRM, but the Store rocks, the speed rocks, the overview rocks, the prices rock.
I use it all the time for pop/rock music etc...and sometimes trance too.

Vonyc
Not that much in the collection there yet, and they still don't seem to be able to finally add PAYPAL for direct paying - which friggin SUCKS. As long as they don't do this, they don't see any money from me.
But they have some exclusive pre-releases there...

Beatport - Glitchy recently with the new Flash 9 that just came out. I hate how you can't go back (it takes you back to the home page). It takes forever to load sometimes. Am tired of the color scheme and spacey design. I am looking for another site even though it has great tracks.

Track It Down - Looks great. I like the DJs they have for charts. Not a great selection of tracks and a slow site.

Itunes - hate it.

Audio Jelly - hate it. The layout is brutal IMO.

Play It Tonight - Fastest site of them all. Needs more content. Easiest download store to navigate. probably my favorite along with beatport.

Dj Download - Terrible layout. Fast now but there are faster sites. Good house releases but not much in what I am looking for.

ID&T Dance-Tunes - I like the bundles feature but I can't get past the brutal layout and interface. Its sooo hard to find tracks.

Beatport and Play It Tonight are my favs (especially since www.playittonight.com just put up a brand new site up). I love how the player shows your play history, the quickness of the site and the fact that they are adding new material regularly.

I like beatport for the obvious reason: Un-paralleled content.

All of the rest of the sites are garbage IMO.

Beatport has really been pissing me off lately!

I can't even buy songs lately cause its sooo glitchy and slow...

We really like trackitdown, especially since they redesigned their website, much better!

my vote goes to audiojelly. ya it takes a while to play a sample but the samples are the best around imo. plus there are a hella lot of good releases on there.

My fav still is Play It Tonight . I like their new design even better than track it down (my former fav site).

I heard beatport is re-launching with a new site (to match play it tonight's and trackitdown's re-launch?).

Audiojelly for the interface, I like theirs. Expensive though.
Beatport for their prices, nice and cheap. Atrotious interface though.
