you guys have to realize that most gurls rather want to listen to house musik..why? coz house musik is sexy, has groovy beats, its dynamic and the rhythm is better than in trance..ya i know, i luv trance as well, but house is where its at right now or wheres its always been...i dont think that you'll find more than some gurls that really dig trance here in toronto as well like i said, trance still isn't the musik that people understand here, house musik has been more popular here than any electronic gender, well im not couting jungle and d&b coz this scene is the biggest here most clubs now play house musik which i really luv coz really it sounds so much different than playing at your home

hmm.. I can only agree to that statement somewhat.. I just don't think girls devote themselves too much to this sort of music.. I mean, I believe they just like to go out and dance to whatever gets them moving, but they don't really care who's spinning, what the track is, etc... guys on the other hand, obsess about these things more often.. This partially agrees with your statement as whatever is more popular (i.e. house being more popular than trance), then that's what catches the attention of most females.

In my opinion, i wouldn't come to say that house is generally more rhythmic than trance tho

believe it or not thats how it is...it doesn't have to due to the fact that it is being played in clubs or watever...its just different than trance and u guys stil dont get it...trance musik is not sexy or groovy, it doesn't have those elements...im not gonna explain trance to you guys, coz you should all know i've spoken with a lot of people, and they prefer house i know i can't listen to house all the time, i need trance as well, coz then i'll get bored of it...yes i know what you mean bizz about gurls going out and dancing to watever it is played...but why do they play house all the time? is it because it is commercial or because people like it more? depends on everyone's point of view...sometimes i think that house is the most commercial electronic gender, but other times i dont, we can say a lot things, why does it catch females faster than trance musik? coz people dont wanna understand the musik, they want a sexy groovy beat not some emotional depressing sounds of trance...in clubs on regular nights even with hip-hop,r&b,euro they spin cheesy house, something like what Eric Morillo spins from NY...to me house musik, is musik that somehow always gets me moving its not coz of the beat its coz i understand it, yes it does have the sick ass beat but thats not all to it, house never build ups, it just keeps on adding sounds to it, its dynamic, then could turn aggressive and all of a sudden its darky...it always depends from the dj, if the dj spins some sick-ass house then yes people will remember him and the club, even the gino heads lol and they will come to the same place again and again, and maybe realize that house musik is not DULL OR BORING! but like i said it depends from the person
house musik is just groovy in other words sexy and funky and so on..i won't say this again, coz i can assure any person that luv's house would say the same thing...

"depends on everyone's point of view..." Exactly, lol.. my point of view is different (as with yours) so you can't really argue one's opinions. I'm not that fond of house (but I do listen to it), so this is probably why our opinions differ.

"coz people dont wanna understand the musik, they want a sexy groovy beat not some emotional depressing sounds of trance..." huh?? I know there are tear-jerking ("depressing"?) trance tunes, but there are a heck of a lot more uplifting, energetic tunes that can blow the living daylights out of dance crowds (which may draw a tear because the track was so good, but that's a different type of emotion ). I also believe that progressive trance can be tossed in with house and people would not bother to notice the differences. In other words, I just think that trance can too withhold, in other people's minds, an attractive groovy beat.

In any case, just to stay on topic, what I am getting to is that trance can lure the girls just as well as house music in my opinion

Unless you're a female, I'm not sure how far you can go saying that all girls want the "sexy" beats of house (i know you've based this on other's opinions though)

IMO, the majority of females are just into whatever music that is being played in clubs.. my basis for this judgment: if the girls were really picky about music and are all into house music, then I certainly don't want to go to an event where a trance DJ is spinning, to dance only with guys!! (OMG, lol)

U're right blue_neon girls "Here" in Toronto, find House music more danceable. It's like "LOUNGE" music.... the kind u wanna put on while sipping on Cocktails and chatting with friends. Girls like to move their hips...well, at least those that can move them..... but I don't necessarily agree with "NO" girls in the Trance scene. When I went to Tiesto, both times, and other major concerts...I saw massive girls... ... just take a look at my pics. section on my site...most of those pics I took at a Trance venue. I find that the girls I meet are usually Polish, Ukrainian, Russian, and from other parts of europe. Which, is aaaaaall goooooood for STYLEZZZZZ cause I love them Blonde....*panting* mmmm!!

ya i know that polish, ukrainian, russian gurls like trance...but still for most of the polish gurls its all about the beat, they like hard beats, and hey its all good i like to listen to hard trance, but for them its just beats and nothing else...at least u Stylez got my point by anymeans, its a disgrace to polish that all polish gurls are blonde fucken annoying, every chick i meet that is polish was 90% of the time blonde and then when you see a blonde you automatically now that she's polish well at least to me and the other majority of polish people...i really dont know what the fuck is up with the blonde thing? is it the ERA OF BLONDES hehe ya i like blondes too but when you see a hot polish chick straight from poland which is brunette, then next 3 months she ends up being blonde really fucken annoying, and no i aint pickey, its the truth

Hey, at least we all confirm that there *are* females that are into trance... so what's keeping them from these forums (the original survey question)?

and that's so true about Polish = blonde... maybe it's a culture thing, I don't know. and I'm with neon.. I definitely don't agree with people completely changing their hair colour - that just shows shallowness and an [un]willingness to be themselves. Highlights are great tho..

[Edit: oops, that was a terrible grammatical error]
