what's "minimal tech" and "tech house"
is it that real robotic sounding stuff that lawler plays in most of his sets? i saw lawler live at nikki beach club in miami last 4th of july and he was awesome...he played that king unique electric itch dub track...i like that stuff. but i recently listened to some of his newer sets and it's too "techy" sounding...i like house that is more smooth...maybe even with some male vocals...has to flow nice. like that Dramirez remix of "Flashback".
what are some good sets with that kind of house? i also love progressive and nuschool breaks...like james lavelle GU023 stuff.

Tech House - Zabiela, new Sasha, etc.
Minimal Techno - Loco Dice, Richie Hawtin, Ricardo Villalobos, Michael Mayer. I think Mistress Barbara's also gone the minimal route lately. See the stuff from Cocoon and Kompakt labels

youre right with the minimal tech DJs, but tech-house, people seem to debate over it... some people believe it is what it means... tech + house... but most people tend to consider electro sounding (but not soooo electroey that its bad)... i guess some of Sander K's sets have tech-house, or even some Benny Benassi is tech-house... i could be wrong though, thats some debatable stuff
