Great Show!
Set Time: 1 AM-4:40 AM. AvB played right up til the end, even after the lights came up, the crowd chanted "one more track", & he obliged.
Trainspotting:
Traffic
"Message in a Bottle"--unknown remix "sending out an SOS, sending out an SOS"
3 Drives on a Vinyl--unknown remix.
Crowd: Eager. Venue was full, but not overcrowded.
Cost: Expensive. $25 cover, $12 drinks.
Lines: It's definitely worth it to get pre-sales. I showed up at 11 PM, & waited 35 minutes. Pre-Sales people were zipping in in 5 minutes.
Venue: Straight box room, with 2 elevated dancing platforms on the sides, & an elevated DJ booth/balcony. Much better than Texas venues which delight in random railings/split levels.
My own uncoolness factor: very high. I recognize TranceEyes22, tell her "hi!" & "I recognize you from your pictures, you're very bold to post."
Tranceyes22 to me: Yeah, I know I'm old, today's my birthday.
Me: No, no, no you're BOLD!
Her: I'm OLD? STFU.
Me: ah...nevermind.
Other uncool moments: Looking for the mythical "D Street exit" off 395 that maps.google told me to take, & ending up cruising through the Sursum Corda projects.
AvB really ripped the lid off, it was a set that started off with high energy & did not let up.
