here is the best way to record it!!
if you missed this set like so many people have it can be downloaded from their website. www.play.fm The set itself like so many others on the site are streamed on a continuous basis so you can listen to them any time you wish to tune in
....... BUT .........
There is a catch to downloading it and heres the easiest and only known workaround for this site in particular. What you have to do is:
[1] Find the set first on the site
[2] Cicking the link will open a playlist in your media player [winamp is what I used]
[3] It will connect and when it does you need to use your media players functionality to view the file info.
[wmp = file-->properties]
[winamp = within playlist editor ... file-->file info]
[realplayer = file-->clip properties-->view clip info]
[4] Within the file info dialog box there will be some info on the file and the part you are after is the url link the set is being streamed from so find that.
HERE COMES THE CATCH..........
[5] Now highlight the whole of this link and 'copy & paste' it into
'MOZILLA FIREFOX' browser address bar only. When you hit enter the set should download into a folder you have assgned downloads to go to when using Mozilla Firefox. The transfer rate at the moment, because of traffic I'd imagine, is leveling out between 15 - 20 KB/sec so best thing is to take a crap, watch tv, surf the net, walk the dog if you have one or do something in the mean time.
**NOTE**
When trying to do step 5 in IExplorer 6 [which most ppl have] all that will happen is that the stream will open up wmp and stream it from the website and the usual option of 'save file as' doesn't work. So Firefox browser is the only option I can think of that will automatically download when you do step 5.
[6] When you go to the folder you saved the set in watch out because the file will be named ''index.php'' You need to rename it to whatever you like really but remember to put the .mp3 extension at the end of the 'new' file name otherwise it won't be recognised as an mp3 file.
