Anybody dead set on growing their own herbage?

Anyone can easily grow a concealed batch of 3 or 4 plants and never have to go out and buy more. Anyone doing it or have plans to?

I'm thinkin of buying the dankest seeds from high times and setting up a grow system, but I am no botanist, and it costs a little money to set up.

I really love the "gateway drug" theory I get maybe once a month. Though while true in my case, I started smokin, then went to harder stuff, the theory never takes into account the black market economics that is the cause of the so-called gateway drug. As an illegal substance, weed is the same catagory of legality as drugs such as cocaine, e, lsd, etc. So, those dealers and smugglers doing business in illegal drugs will also be doing business in marijuana. So, yea, pot smokers will have an increased chance of encountering hard drugs and trying them. That's not because weed is a gateway drug causing the user to want more and "better" stuff, but it's because weed is simply illegal and forced into the underground black market.

Plus, I've been smokin weed for 3 years, and if I get really good dro, I still get just as high as I did 3 years ago, so the tolerance part of weed as a gateway drug just isn't true..

My family never really gets on my case as far as smoking pot goes. But just recently they heard some thing in the radio from that Rush Limbaugh guy who claims Marijuana and Alcohol have the same negative health affects. Now there is a case, Lord do I despise that guy. It isn't even a big deal but the fact that the statement is a load of shit and that they believe it just irks me.

But I finally got some nice buds, which I can now rest from scraping the resin out of my broken bowl

now i rarely do other stuff and i dont smoke pot. last time i did anything was august 3rd at panoramabar in berlin... pills

LOL, coming from the same person who admitted to abusing oxycontin, Limbaugh is a straight hypocrite. Make sure to tell your family that, or maybe call up Limbaugh and see if he knows what the negative effects of OC are.

As for the gateway drug thing, it probably holds true to some cases, but definitely not all. I've met a few stoners who are either too scared to try the harder stuff or believe too much in the government hype about other drugs, as ironic as that sounds. For me, it was Ecstacy that was my gateway drug. I didn't even like weed yet although I had tried it before, but doing E made me reconsider it as well as wanting to try the others. And once I discovered that smoking weed did a wonderful job at easing an ecstacy come down, I pretty much cemented my relationship with it. And now I think it's time to smoke a bowl.
