Bin Laden weed? I've heard some weird names for weed but none have been named after terrorists. I'd probably hesitate if someone offered me a hit of this "bin laden weed" but I'd probably take it anyway, does that make me un-patriotic?

Agreed that the speed should be talked about in the crackhead thread. Salvia, however, is nothing like weed. Furthermore, anyone who thinks weed is "psychoactive" in the same sense as shrooms or lsd or mdma even, needs to smoke some shit not laced with the aforementioned. Salvia falls under the "I don't have any friends so I can't find any acid/I'm too much of a pussy to take shrooms" category.

The effects may be far different but you can still put them in the same category. Cocaine and caffeine are both stimulants, yet completely different as well.

I haven't tried salvia personally but I've heard/read accounts of people reporting that the trip resulting from it is on par with lsd/shrooms in terms of intensity, just that the duration of the trip is far shorter. Some people don't get the full effect however due to them not taking it right or taking too small of a dose so I can see how it may have gotten the reputation amongst people that it doesn't work or is a weak trip compared to other hallucinogens.
