I used to freelance with a high-end catering company in Miami cuz I got mad cookin skillz. One night we did an event at the home of a wealthy dood who had some serious health issue. He would take his guests into a private room and pass joints around. The rumor was that he had a prescription for medical weed.
The cooking happened in a tent outside because the guests had access to the house kitchen. After the party I was doing a walk-through of the house to make sure everything was in order. I moved something on a window sill and I'll be damned if there wasn't a roach there. I don't mean a coo-coo-racha roach, I mean a MEDICAL MARY-JU-WANA roach. Okay, I admit that I have only the rumor that this was really prescription pot, but whatever that shit was, it was potent. But I digress...
Being the 1337 and plur dood that I am, I rounded up my two co-cookers and offered them a share of the prize. As the staff gathered back at their cars we fired up the lifeless insect. It was small, but it delivered one dank, heavy hit for each of us.
We were hanging around waiting to see the effects when a waiter from the party came over to check us out. We reported that unfortunately we had destroyed the offending roach completely. He replied that this was not a problem because he was just back from a trip to DENMARK and had brought a bit of his favorite ganj with him, and would we like a hit on his pipe? We said "No thanks, we just smoked what might be medical marijuana and we don't want to get too high." Psych! Of course we smoked his imported shait.
Btw, the title of this story is "The circumstances surrounding the time that I got as high as I've ever been from smoking marijuana".
It's pointless to try to describe the high from those two hits, but I will share a call that I placed to one of my two chef friends while driving home on the interstate:
Me: (spoken in a low monotone voice) T, are, you, as, high, as, I, am?
Me: (still in monotone) I, am, risking, my, life, to, call, you, right, now.
I got home and lived happily ever after. THE END.
