But yea, I can leave, I just can't get back in. And since I'm finally about to recieve my greencard... I'd prefer not to roll the dice
see, this is one of the reasons why canada is so much better than the US, i can leave the country how many times i want to. in the US if you dont have permanent visa i think you can only leave the country once?

no you can leave as much as you want permitted you wait and pay a lot of money for a permit that lets you do such. Of course the permit expires every year so you have to renew it at high price and wait months before you recieve it. I decided to skip the process as I expect the greencard by August and my last travel permit expired end of March.
Yea, Canada is much simpler to immigrate to....
I think the worst USA agency hands down is the INS
Fortunately I always have repeal and if they take their sorry ass time I'm going straight to Congress... well my congressmen that is.

Because there's nothing really there. Honestly, nothing at all. I've been down there so many times. It's like a party area, and even if you're into big parties, it's only fun for maybe two nights before you're bored already. It's not even worth it and the beaches are ALWAYS packed.
What kind of a vacation are you looking to take? Sight-seeing, or relaxing?
