What's sad, though, is that people have been so dumbed down and conditioned that they now seem to equate historical facts for "conspiracy theory." While that phrase is in facta thought-teminating cliche, it's also become a meme for anything controversial that people are unwilling to discuss.

So the co-op asked me to DJ for the Halloween party. I played House, but a lot of Minimal and Techno too. Texas isn't exactly a hot spot for EDM to my surprise, people really got in to it... to the point that the entire booth was shaking! First time I ever mixed live btw, kinda fun. Just wanted to share .

Thanks man, no... I only picked out the first three tracks ahead of time. A downtempo intro, followed by a techno track, followed by minimal . I was a bit psyced after I found out it was around 300 people as opposed to the small after party I was expecting, so I stuck with a programmed intro I had in mind just in case .

Thanks dude, yeah... I was only a bit uncomfortable and nervous for so long as the the place went nuts by the time I mixed the third track in... plus, the experience of public speaking and playing guitar / bass (and even vocals on some songs) live with bands before takes the edge off trying something new when it comes to public / live performances . Although I did almost have one trainwreck when the booth was shaking really hard and took me a bit longer to pick the next track to play.
