It's amusing that you think I hold Kissinger in some sort of esteem... I didn't think meeting him was neat because I look up to him, but because of the office he held. And the war criminal thing is predictable because it always seems directed at Kissinger rather than the Presidents he was advising, or, for that matter, any of the other dozen figures in the foreign policy establishment that could be labeled equally morally ambivalent. In any case, it was far more interesting to see Albright and Powell.
And to answer your question, tathi - five former US Secretaries of State (Powell, Albright, Christopher, Baker, and Kissinger) got together to discuss the foreign policy issues facing the next administration, and before the event they gathered in a staging area in the same building as my office. The event was actually quite interesting - it's being shown on CNN here in the states on Saturday night, and I think can be seen on their website too.
