Ah yes. Now that I see that picture in the article I remember something about McDonald's having to come up with a new kind of oil for frying their fries some years ago. However, I think that it only applies to restaurants and such, where the customer doesn't get to know how his food is prepared. You can still buy "bad" oils in the supermarket.
@All: What's the taxation level in the US (roughly)?
Yes i wish they would ban it here as well......excellent idea.

But ok, let's say that you earn $100k a year and live in NYC (random example ) and own nothing (i.e. rent your way through life)?
65% or 72% are both insane.......in Ireland the top rate of tax is 42% the bottom rate is 20%.

No bottle mate, no bottle, you should have done the dump by text method, that doesnt require that you talk to her either....
But i would imagine it leads to a belt in the gob the next time you bump into her.......
LOL I can't help it if she didn't get the message.

I was wasted when I wrote that. Just to clarify I had already in my mind dumped her, by telling her we shouldn't go out anymore. But I don't think that she got the message. Because we kept talking on the phone after that (at the time I thought this was just as friends). Then I stopped phoning her (think I had exams, it was ages ago), she phoned me twice and I didn't answer then she didn't bother again.
It took me a while to work out in my head that she possibly thought we were still going out at the point we stopped phoning eachother (which was what happened, rather than me just never picking up 101 phonecalls/messages).
Just seemed a natural conclusion to me. You know that the being friends thing tailed off.
I just got a shock when I met her mate in the chippy and she was all mental at me. Though I had gone "hey hey your your.... " forgot her name.
Though I worked out before that she might have thought we were still going out and stuff because I sent a text (about 6 months ago and about 6 months after we'd lost contact) before saying we should get back in contact (as friends) and she came back with exactly the same words as her mate "what happened".
I was like is she mental at the time then I thought maybe it was some form of drama on her part (towards the end I reconed she just liked having a bf and all the associated stuff she is a bit younger than me, and she'd lied to me about stuff too). I mean at that point I thought we'd just lost contact as mates.
But after awhile I worked out it was possible she though we were going out up until we lost contact. (which would make me an unintentional arsehole) But what part of "I don't think we should go out anymore" causes confusion? She even said "Yeah maybe now would be a good time to break up".
By the way I think this is my first "emo" style thread/posts.
Incidentialy her friend in the chippy nearly got me in a fight with 4 sailors because of her BS at one point back when I was going out with the girl. She was a "lesbian" apparently and told these wasted sailors they started showing her their dongs and she wigged out and ran back to our table, they followed and started acting like dicks.
It's hard to explain but I think my ex and her mates just liked drama and feeling like they were living in some film or something, and had so many emotional problems and so on (hence the little lesbo phase from her friend and 1001 things my ex acted up on).
My conclusion don't go out with younger girls (or if you do make sure they aren't full of shit).

I've only dated men a lot older than me. I just can't relate to anyone even remotely close to my age. They are all so hyper, pathetic, and unmotivated in life.

Well then you have to make a choice...
Young and hyper, or older and a bastard like Dervish!

I'm all about the older men. The latest one is 8.5 years older.
