I went out and spent a fortune to purchase an 18 pack of Lone Star, for what it is worth I like it better than Pacifico which I hate. And I do brew my own beer. Waiting on a batch of American IPA I need to bottle in a couple of days to a week.

-very smooth so far. Nice flavor, not the more smokier/peat taste, which was what I was kinda shooting for (suggestions?), but very tasty nonetheless
I usually have a bottle of this around in the house for guests, not a big scotch drinker but Glenfiddich is relatively 'inoffensive' enough to be palatable for people. Theres a few others which are slightly hard to get and a little better if slightly more risque.
edit- A Glenmorangie 12yr is a good start, theyre an interesting flavour if you want something different
Missed a good Irish whiskey in your refined alcoholic wanderings, Jameson's 12yr Reserve. Much prefer it over a 12year old scotch.

Lone Star ha ha
When I went to check out Reverend Horton Heat at Stubbs in Austin a few months back, I got in touch with my Texan Roots and got totally wasted on Lone Star. In fact I think I even bought Z a Lone Star at a show we met at. ha ha ha
Lone Star was my first beer I tried when I was a wee lad, and buddy, that was a while back.

4.7% alcohol, does that even class as a beer or some kind of lollywater?

Listen lady, I brew my own beer which usually averages %6.0-6.7 but I drink so damn much sometimes I have to go out and buy lollywater to get me through the tough times. So I'd appreciate if if you'd STFU.
