They made some super songs, I'm a much mellower (and probably boring) person these days, seen drugs kill too many people when I was younger.

One of my current fav's at the moment is Bloc Party, which is kind of sad as I'm a bit old to be running around in the punk/idie scene and dont have the necessary angst for it
His voice melts me though.

Yeah theyre something special, really hope they do well because it's rare to hear something like them, mix of sensitivity and energy in a band that just seems to gel really well.
Songs like Luno, Two More Years and This Modern Love are probably my favorites but basically I havent found anything of theirs I'd call 'filler' songs.

I second that! They did play a couple of new ones this past time I saw them... I have hope for them, they can become a real big, on the lines like a radiohead or cold play. You know not in sound, but just, different from the norm just in a few degrees.

Bit over Coldplay and Radiohead, think they just got played too much by every damn radio statio for me to want to listen to them again.

And just to mix it up a bit, Deadcandance doing Cantara. I think I prefer the studio version but the 'Within the realm of a Dying Sun' is one of those albums people should own or at least listen to at least once.
Lisa Gerrard also did a whole heap of stuff you've probably already heard like the Gladiator soundtrack, Papua New Guinea by FSOL and a few other bits and pieces.
