That's because they, along with several other eastern cultures, have a serious inferiority complex (I call it the "white complex"). Laz probably know what I'm talking about. Well, that's one of the reasons for their weirdness anyways. Ofcourse, their culture is quite different from Western culture too, so that factors in. I've never really considered them to be part of the West, and can't understand why people sometime do.
