Well, it's because we made a very bright deal with Deutsch Telecom when we sold them Hrvatski Telekom. You see, one clause in the contract said that the government won't allow another firm to enter the market until 2005. That was back in the 1990's. So DT decided that it would be a waste of money to install high speed internet because if people didn't like 56k..oh well, it's not like they had anyone else to turn to. So now in a few months their competition will arrive and suddenly we're offered totally cheap ISDN and ADSL.

oh, pumpkin... i shouldn't reveal all of my tricks but here's one: always keeep your stalkee in the dark and never let on how much you know. that's why i don't reply to every single one of your posts. i don't want you to know i've read them all.
and for subscriptions, well, i don't know. i'd have to refer you to our circulation department for that. at last check, they're pretty worthless. we got a hilarious letter from a mother who kept trying to cancel a subscription that was mistakenly coming to her 11-year-old daughter. she called us "trash peddlers" and said her daughter probably wound up with the subscription through one of the web sites we use to target minors. she said she had been trying to get this subscription canceled for at least a year and she was about to take "more drastic action." the point of all this: i don't think the subscription department is very efficient.
on a completely different note, i think it's hilarious that lynndie england pleaded (anyone who says "pled" gets the hose) guilty and the judge pretty much said, "i don't believe you."

Nah, nowadays the market is too flooded with everything to make a decent profit out of selling DVDs. I so wish for the old days to come back when people would pay you 10$ for a burned cd
Now you can either do it for like 2$ or agree to an exchange of DVDs, which is basically what the guy does.
