Actaully that reminds me, does anyone know of any "easyjetesque" budget flight companies in America? I got a free return flight over there and we were thinkin bout DC for five days, Boston for five days and New Orleans for five days. What do people reccommend?

Independance air and jet blue are pretty good/cheap. I would use www.kayak.com to find good deals.

Think the revised itinery is now Washington to Atlanta to New Orleans (as my mate has already been to Boston) Is there anything good to do/see in any of these cities?

I am a fiction reader, never really into non-fiction. Well not biographies on people really. Havent read in ages though, getting a laptop and Football manager 2005 has taken up alot of my spare time.

Not a damn thing! Are you kidding me? I live in Atlanta, and it'll be your biggest challenge because the city is very sprawled out and requires a car to get to and from most places, but there is plenty to do here, it just takes more effort.

Washington is sweet--just walk around the city and take it in. A lot of history, great museums, etc. Also, Georgetown is really cool and there are some great bars. Just be careful not to go to the wrong part of town!

New Orleans. Go have a blast. Go down Bourbon St. Look at some titties, get wasted, eat breakfast at Cafe du Monde, get wasted again. New Orleans is a city that will party 24 hours a day.

I just bought FM05 for one reason and one reason only! I d/l the demo and saw that Danny Webber and Paul Ifill were pretty good (our new signings, but still at their original clubs) (plus Micheal Tonge and Phil Jagielka were both pretty good) and there has never been one edition of Champo where Sheff Utd are any good. So immediately ordered FM05 and went straight on the data editor to get my new signings and we got promoted to the Premier League! (Ok so there were occasions when I accidently pressed ctrl/alt/del) Haven't played it since then cos kept losing and it started to piss me off (especially as my balance is summat like £19million and the board for some dick head reason only wanna give me £600,000 of it!)

@ GeorgeSmiley: And if you happen to be on the West Coast, you HAVE to go to San Francisco. Lots of shit to do and watch there. Check out Height Street and downtown (and since you're a tourist, Pier39 and Palace of Fine Arts). I've lived in 5 different states and 3 different countries and I have to say that San Francisco is by far the best place I've ever lived (actually I used to live in Newark, which is in the San Francisco Bay Area, it's just an hour drive away). It would be a shame to not visit one of the most beatiful cities in the country (nice weather too and really friendly ppl). Oh, and they have great chinese and Indian/Pakistani food there too (infact, there's this great place called "Shalimar" on O'Farell & Jones, it's comparable to authentic Indian/Pakistani food).
