Dont watch the Oc at all but my mate came round the other day and insisted we watch it. I am led to believe it is quite a popular programme so maybe some of you watch it and would be interested to know that Caleb Nichol is Jim Robsinson out of Neighbours!!!

Awesome ... my game was on in bowling tonight: 186, 135, 162, and 155.
Anyway, so there are two types of people: the fiction type and the non-fiction type (of course there are the non-readers, but they're analogous to the untouchables in the Indian caste system). Yea you may read both but you know you generally lead one way or the other. For example I'm at about a 3:1 parity non-fiction to fiction. Last fiction I read was, The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay. Just bought three new non-fictions I'm looking forward to reading: "Arc of Justice: A Saga of Race, Civil Rights, and Murder in the Jazz Age", "1776", and "Freakonomics". I enjoy both, but sometimes I think that the reality of life is sufficiently imaginative enough to compete with fiction.
So which are you?

Close call but I'm going to have to go with non-fiction.

Eh ... I feel like I should read more fiction, but they're always hard to get into imo.
I had a date last week ... it was blah. Very unopinionated in topics interesting and appealing to me ... I hate that. Twice as shitty because she was attractive.

My date went well, but we'll see if it happens a second time. He made fun of me, I kind of liked that. It showed he wasn't afraid to be himself. Plus, I kind of like someone busting my balls a bit.

Defintely non-fiction.
But I'm a "hard" non-fiction in comparison to you.
I primarly read biographies (though of important people, i.e. buisness, gemerals, and political leaders, not of shmoes, wannabes, or actors). But also read a lot of 'theory' books such as 'soft' negotiations, sales, management, sociology, and psychology books.
I haven't read fiction since.. well I dunno. Guess Zen and the Art of Motorcycle maintance.. but thats sorta a philosophy book really -- that was maybe 6 months ago.
Right now on my book list are the following:
"From Wealth to Power" - Fareed Zakaria
"Bargaining for Advantage" - G Richard Shell
Both are a bit more scholarly in a nature then the three books I just finished... After these two I will most likely read Jack Welsch's new book.
