That is so not true. It's actually 10 times easier than to install programs on windows. In Ubuntu there's a graphical interface where you just search for the program you want to install, mark it for installation, and then click apply. So incredibly simple my 6 year old sister could do it.
@shaolin, that looks really nice I'm also on Ubuntu now, although i turned off compiz because my 5 year old laptop would make it lag slightly |
Hehe, thanks. Yeah, I need to upgrade my ram because I've only got 512 megs right now lol. I've turned compiz off too until I get more ram .
