Yeah, but it's a big old world. Plenty of stuff happens in asia, africa and south america... aside from the odd post about Chavez, everyone loves Chavez.
Just think the middle east and US tend to get more than their fair share of stories, bit of variety is nice, somewhere you haven't heard of full of funny coloured people everyone can hate on for a change.

Plenty of the boys talk as if they're ready to go to war with each other. One of them will crash an ice cream van into a US post office packed with salsa as protest or something sooner or later.

reminds me of the time some mexican immigrants were protesting Taco Bell and some other fast food joints that used some company. but the funniest thing I ever saw was when I was in NY and I went in to a taco bell, they had instruction printed on the side of the wrappers instructing the eater how to eat a taco and burrito.....
