I dont think I've ever seen a band live which had this much potency, (aside from being squashed, trodden on, thrown about and nearly killed in a mosh pit seeing them at the time), theres just something Ministry had at the time and a few other people have tried for it, but not quite captured.
Raw, visceral hatred.
Pantera had a go for the crown, but ultimately they where just dumb, white-boys from the suburbs.
Jello Biafra, who had a bit to do with them on and off had the sarcasm, wit and menace. But wasnt hard enough.
Henry Rollins is as intelligent and has the hate but most of his was directed inward making people think about themselves.

Ah, after Psalm 69, just close the door and last one out turn off the lights really as far as industrial-metal is concerned. You won't top it, its an album with anthems to burn the state administration to the ground for all their lies and corruption while listening to it.
It's been awhile since I spun up that album, think it was last year or early this year and the frightening thing about it, 15 years after it was released, I didnt really start listening to Ministry until about 1998.
15 years later, the subjects in it are still the same...
Filth Pig and Rio Grande Blood albums where a slow down but after hearing bits from Houses of the Molé, theyre back and theyre really pissed with the current US government again! haha!

Going to hate me for this, but I always preferred the NIN cover
Of anyone that was going to do it though, NIN would be it in my books.

No worries, good luck with the studies.
Always good to have a different perspective; keeps things real.
Yes, and Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and all that to everyone as well.

Could throw it back real far if you want?
Now, this...
Daft film clip, great song. It's basically the track that got me listening to electronic music seriously rather than just a whole heap of hokey, pop stuff and other terrible things I used to listen too.
Still got no idea what someone is doing running around with an egg in Brussels...

It's sort of a pity there isnt a sub-forum somewhere here that would be a bit more open to other music types and genre discussion, for one, Trance is just a little bit of a larger electronic music scene. The changes in the trance scene obviously havent washed well with some people if judging by the responses meeted out (either warranted or whinging) about old artists changing their styles. As always, I'm just a tourist and trance was a little stopover here and there once in awhile so I'd hardly call myself any kind of expert on it.
Heck, its hard enough raking through the current stuff to find anything I like.
