Holden, Sasha, and Sander K are amazing live.

Well, I take that back. They were 2-4 years ago... the last time I went to anything edm related has to have been over 2 years now. So I don't really know how they are anymore.

Sasha is my idol but i found his set last december to be quite uninspiring. Digweeds last year was the best set i've ever heard.

In the next three weeks i get to see Jimmy van M promoting his new Balance CD, then Chris Lake, Sebastian Lerger, King Roc, and Anthony Pappa the weekend after. And then Sasha and Diggers together the weekend before i elave for south america!!!!

Damn good ! Although I've never seen them live, Texas not exactly being an EDM hotspot , I didn't really get into their stuff until recently. I must admit I though their last mix compilations were crap the first few times I listened to them, but after a few listens they really grew on me and I absolutely love 'em (along with tons of other stuff by Holden and Sasha from the earlier days I hadn't listened to much). And Nick Warren is hands down the my favourite (and most consistent) DJ ever. I'm one of those who started listening to trance (the good old stuff) a little late and was pretty jaded for a while, considering how alot of the great DJs and producers of the late 90s/early 2000s went to shit (like Tiesto, Oakey, etc). But Sasha and Holden's experimental, original, and progressive styles rejuvinated my interest in EDM (and by progressive, I mean what the term actually means, not the pretentious label given to boring deep thumpy EMD ).

Here a relatively recent Holden set I uploaded if you wanna check it out

James Holden - Live @ Fuse, Belgium (03-18-06)

@tathi: Grab this set. I've been addicted to it since I got it.

Well, I certainly don't share your opinion of Cyrus. A lack of control of his emotions, considering how passionate he is about certain issues, makes him come across as something he's really not. Sorry, but I feel compelled to defend him here, as he does a pretty good job of giving people who don't understand his anger and what it's directed at the wrong impression. I'm not saying he doesn't cross the line at times, but so do plenty of other people here. They just don't realize it. Where the hell did he go anyways?

yeah Cyrus is great guy outside his heated rants; i used to talk to him a fair bit a year or two ago (although haven't had any contact with him since then) he's alot different to his TA persona (and we all have forum personas to some extent) and i think if we put all the PDD regulars in a room together (outside of the internet) we would all get along really well

ps. his taste in music sucked, he had "Prog = Complete Shit" in his avatar

@ tathi: I'm listening to that set you gave me a while back, André Absolut - 1 Nightliner. Very listenable, nothing that blows me away though. Nick Warren's the only one who's done that in a while.
