Hey hey why no Edinburgh? When I was there I made friends with people from all over the world. Very cool city, you have the festival (big big event thousands of shows on), the new years celebration is the biggest in the world, the whole place is unbelivably cosmopolitan, and very european. Edinburgh uni is one of the best in the UK too.

Thats the last night of my last flat before I finnished. There is 2 scots (one me, obviously), 1 basque, 1 spanish, 1 mexican, 1 nigerian, 1 canadian, 1 polish and the person holding the camera is israeli at least I think it was him taking the pic. And I've had French, German, Norwegian, Indian and Irish flatmates awell as that lot. All in one year in 2 different flats. 
The buildings are really cool too, alot of history. Ohh and the view on the main street is of Edinburgh Castle very very cool (see below for the gardens and castle right in the center of Edinburgh). The whole place has an excellent atmosphere.
