I just wanted to say hi to everyone!

I tried to read this entire thread to catch up, but it's just too damn much to read.
I am curious if you guys ever implemented your planned political siege on one of the local forums? I would have volunteered to be a fundie.
Whoa Nelly! :P

This thread needs more alcohol. You're at a bar, what do you order?
me:
Beer - Usually a bass or harp
Liquor - Belvedere and tonic or Belvedere and club soda |
Fat Tire and Laughing Lab are both excellent local beers.
I'm more a vodka martini man though.

Now I just don't care and am impopular . |
That's the best quote evar.
This is a pseudo-chillout room freak-child thread, so I can use that word.

Seems to me like a randomly invented "religion" (with lots of LSD influence in the making, obviously) meant to serve as a frame for an elitist closed circle of rich people. Very much like this current pseudo-Kabbalah hype. |
L Ron Hubbard made a bet with a friend that he could invent a religion and that people would buy into it - literally.
He won the bet.
Lastly, St_Andrew I think the problem with your foreign exchange student experience is that you are (were?) in a rural setting.
Your experience would have been vastly different had it been in a cosmopolitan city like Toronto, Montreal, NYC, etc, but I'm sure you don't need me to harp on that as you are likely well aware.
And Sweden looks like a wang. So there.
