Well, i havent been following the swedish teams that closly lately in the uefa cup (since i have been in n. america for a year), so im affraid i dont know about Cork City. Djurgården is a pretty decent team tho, but i dont like them. My team is ÖSK, they got moved down to the division under the highest one this year tho cause their economy was too crappy! and the team wasnt that good in the first place, but hey they were from my town so of course i had to cheer for them!

dont like torrents much, always alot slower then a direct download. Haha yea, good to see they arent acting in them. Pam and tommy one aswell. Colin farrell is going to the ocurts at the moment to get a sex tape of him and some playboy bunny banned from being sold.

well its the biggest sport, and swedes are crazy about it, at least during big tournaments (many arent working when they play games, everyone is going crazy if they win etc), but i dont think its near as big as in england or italy for example! how about ireland? same as england pretty much?

hockey is pretty big too but not the same thing, mostly because its so watered down nowadays...

big enough, 3rd most popular. Biggest is GAA football and hurling. THen football. Big following of english teams, local following is quite small which is a shame.

Ok, just had a complete headfuck and think I might have disproved the existence of God! Yes I’m drunk and had a few spiffs but I just sat down to take a dump on the toilet and had a complete revelation!

I’ll not go into details of how I came to think of this but it involves my Lonely Planet guide book to Lebanon and imagining me in Beirut having a conversation with someone about religion. He asks whether I believe in God and I say the Bible keeps contradicting itself and science has proven all other things to be untrue…apart from one thing science cant explain…and this is where I had my revelation!!

Basically, you all must have had that discussion with yourself about how the universe began. I know I’ve had it loads of times. Its quite a good argument for a religious person to make cos we simply do not know how the universe started. So the obvious religious argument is that it must have been God that did it. My theory is that we simply cannot contemplate the true nature of time. Humans are simply not that far ahead. So maybe time is in a kind of different shape, like a loop, and there simply is no beginning or end. However, the religious argument still holds, that the loop and everything in it had to be created at some point, things don’t just appear. So maybe it was God? But if we take the two religious arguments further, that nothing just ‘appears’ and that it had to be created, then that would apply to God too. God could not just have ‘appeared’ and had to be created, and what ever created that had to be created and so on. So we have an infinite chain of creation that simply cannot end. So my revelation is that taking the religious argument that the universe had to be created by something disproves itself, cos that implies an infinite chain of creation, which could equally apply to an infinite loop in time for the universe. Either way, which ever way you look at it, there simply is no beginning cos both theories lead to the infinite, but at least with a loop its circular, so the end and beginning can be at any point in the loop, whereas with the God theory, there is no point at which a beginning can be placed, therefore, that theory must be incorrect!
