Well, I'm quite surprised that you got into problems with using visa cards in Denmark, as I have yet to find anywhere that does not accept them. Maybe it's just the brothels that don't accept them? (You did say that you found a girl, right?).

Nah, out of the 5 times i tried to use it they accepted it once. First i tried at some kebab lunch place at stroget, they didnt accept it. Then i tried it at some cafe, they didnt. Then i tried at some grocery store in roskilde (kvicket or something?), they didnt take it either. Then at some convenience store in coppenhagen they didnt take it either, but then finally i found a 7-11 that accepted it!

I think it might be different for international cards tho, since they all the time kept saying "no international cards", and you have those crappy "DK" cards or whatever?

No matter what was wrong, its really bad! especially in a tourist town like coppenhagen! nedeless to say over 75 000 stores in sweden accept them

Coincidentally I had no idea it was in the running for the "best place to talk politics". I only like it because it's a loungy place where people can drink and actually hear each other talk without an obnoxious environment .

However, I was very upset with their beer selection that night. They only had guiness on tap. I then took Trancaholic to the bar with the "most beers in the world." Unfortunately their beer selection for Denmark was surprisingly lacking. I don't know whether to blame that on Denamark or the bar (don't get too uppity St_Andrew, their swedish selection of beers were pretty limited too). However, trancaholic compensated with some African beers and I was glued to some Belgian white ales.

Good times.
