Just got my results today for my masters for last semester. Basically all I need to get in my dissertation is 49% to be awarded a merit (and seeing as 50% is pass then it should be almost guraranteed!!) Or I could get 79% and get a distinction!!

Ahh, if only I had some mates to go and have a drink with but they've all gone home for the summer

Well in total I do four modules (two in the semester b4 xmas and two the semester just gone) and I got a merit in all of those (61%, 66%, 67%, 68%) and now I have to do my dissertation over the summer which is equivelant to two modules. A pass at MA level is 50% (or 40% for MA Diploma) and I need 49% in my dissertation to be guaranteed a merit (60% - 70%) so basically I just have to pass it!

But equipment wise(tanks etc) its a joke really. We dont need an army, not like we are a major world power.
