i donno, i think i would end up somewhere around where he did, and im not slow!!! 100m is pretty long actually... or i donno, i should go out and try or something, but that also mean i would have to leave this comfy chair!

Hehe, got a huge impulse today decided to run for parliament in the swedish election next year with a new party! not that i think i will get in, but im just curious to see how many ppl i could get to vote for me!

I was half thinking about some kinda career in politics too but to do it would take ages and to get in you'd need to be a member of a party and so on.... can't be arsed.... yet

Well the bottom line is even if you are an MP (or eqiv.) you still have no power really.
In alot of ways the media has the real power, but you need to be a boring politics grad to get into that (not so for MPs).
Could go for the Scottish parlament but that whole fucking thing is powerless (in alot of ways so is Westminster, no flexibility you can't try new things)

Personnaly i wouldnt do anything radical, and everything the majority of people would want.
Like decent licensing hours, tougher penalties on chav like antics. Making judges more accountable, there are some right prats. There is appeals thingy that will step in if a sentence isnt leniant enough, dont do it often enough.
