Question Best TOTA-DJ of 2004? (2HP.ca Radio TOTA-DJ of 2004 Award)

TOTA = Toronto Trance Addict

What is your favorite TOTA-DJ (a TOTA-DJ spun at a club, house party or radio) of 2004?

Top 5 choices will be added to a poll, the winner (of poll) will get the 2HP.ca Radio Top TOTA DJ of 2004 award which includes:

- $100 CAD$ gift certificate for a record store (of my choice: Release, Chemical, Juno or 4DJsOnly [which one depends if one chooses to sponsor contest, however $100 CAD$ prize guaranteed])
- 2 special event broadcasts on 2HP.ca Radio prior to February 28 2005 (both scheduled and promoted events, possibly simulcast onto other net-radio stations)
- Option for a weekly, monthly, quarterly residency opportunity on 2HP.ca Radio (and syndication partners) if DJ interested
- Long term mention on 2HP.ca Radio's website (http://www.2hp.ca)

To qualify:

- TOTA-DJ must be registered to TA prior to November 1 2004 and participate regularly in the Toronto Tranceaddict Forum
- TOTA-DJ must NOT have a more frequent than quarterly (5+ times per year) residence at a TO nightclub
- TOTA-DJ must have played live in a regional nightclub, played at a recognized house-party or had a semi-regular radio appearance in 2004

Nominations to be posted in this thread. Nominations must include DJ name, relative date and venue (club, house, radio station) to be valid for contest. Contest closes January 15 2005. Each person allowed 2 nominations. Nominations will be tallied and top 5 will be posted in a poll (1 vote per person).

Above rules may change as I see fit. My vote does not count.

edit: i didn't vote properly here .. i thought we had to rank the best TOTA DJ'd parties, in any event, these events i personally felt contained some of the best sets i heard this past year. this isn't to say that the other sets were lacluster in any way. congrats to all TOTA DJs on a year well done !

Well since this has radio and house party aspects to it I'll say me. (just for the hell of it) However I've done better sets online than I have at the 2 "official" house parties I've spun at. As for nominating anyone other than myself it's impossible. Can't be done by me. Best of luck to those of you who choose. We all just usually spin because we love the music obviously and love sharing that love w you guys (I think I can safely say that...)
