May... What gives??????
I was excited for Chris to play out last night and was bummed when I found out they canceled the night. An email was sent out by the manager according to the owners but I never received an email.
They felt really bad after I told them I had a guest who was really looking forward to playing out. I'm going to meet with them once they get back from Miami to work out a Friday or Saturday night which Chris can play at.
Sound Bar's owners are the original owners of The Lounge who also brought the concept of bottle service / VIP to Minneapolis before any of these other clubs ever existed. They sold The Lounge and then toured the world coming up with ideas from all their stops and brought the vision of Sound Bar. So they have a long track record of being successful and knowing when to make the right calls. They also I believe are working on clubs in Miami and in Colombia.
Out of all the owners I've worked with, I feel these guys are the best and am sure they'll make the situation right in the coming weeks/months.

Also, I found out yesterday while on the phone with Johann and Enrique (the owners) that they've decided to cancel future Sundays this winter besides special one offs. It seems that even with free cover and a $20 open bar the demand just wasn't there.

I can understand why they canceled. It's not a huge deal, just would've appreciated a phone call around noon that day. Had a fair amount of people mobilized to come out. I'd say 20 in total, among others that seemed to be coming from mnvibe posts.
I'm looking forward to whenever the next party will be, Phil.
