Sound In Motion is offering the opportunity to take part in a huge 20-dj tag-team opening set for the ATB show @ Epic on Friday, March 14th. All you have to do to be considered is submit an email stating your interest and how you would promote the show. Submit the email to jacktrash@aphrodisio.com. Djs will be chosen based on their promotion ideas. Each dj chosen will gain free access to the show, and take part in the giant 2 hour tag-team set on the main stage at Epic in downtown Minneapolis. Sound In Motion will decide the order of djs based on how they see the chosen djs implement their promotion strategies, as well as the type of music will be played. We do need to manage the programming of the night a bit before ATB plays, as this night is about him before everyone else Chosen djs will need to document how and when they implement their promotion strategies. In addition, the dj that SIM feels promotes the event the hardest will be chosen to open up for another headline dj event that Sound In Motion hosts within the first 1/2 of 2008 (and we have some KILLER events planned!)
Shoot that email off, and get your name in the list for consideration. The email of interest must be submitted by Saturday, February 16th @ 5 PM.

Thanks, but no thanks. I'm not good enough yet to get behind the decks in a club setting. Unless of course I want to make a fool out of myself. Also, since I'd be using serato, I'd need a good laptop to work with (which is something I don't have).

Yep sounds like a bunch of bs excuses to me!!
ps....sweetcheeks i know ull enjoy this, i had many hilarious dreams last night but them gem of them all included me on a roof, and a pelican flies up to me. I throw my bottle of st.ives apricot scrub (conveniently in my hand already) at the bird and it EATS IT....at this point, im not even mad....thats AMAZING
