Most overplayed songs of summer 2004

In order:

3. Infusion - Girls Can Be Cruel
2. Deep Dish - Flashdance
1. Chiapet - Westworld (Skylark Remix)

Although they're all good tunes, I'm really getting tired of hearing them. Every week I've gone out this summer I've heard at least one of them.

Do you guys think this list is pretty accurate?

Girls Can Be Cruel? I've been rockin that since January. If anyone dares talk shit about Infusion, especially after the unfuckingbelievable performance they droped at KH last weekend, they can fuck right off.

Flashdance? Fuck that. House music needed a nasty guitar riff with beautiful female vocals so bad, and who other than DD to drop this shit right on time? And just before it could even DREAM OF being considered "played out", Skylrak, Hoxton Whores, and David Guetta ALL drop nasty ass remixes of the track!!!

Woooooooooooooooooooooo Hooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

I'm a househead, so nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo played out beats, since Eric Prydz and Greg Churchill have contributed to making this a summer to remember of brraaaannndd new beats!!! NOW BRING BACK THE SUNSHINE. or, ummm...KEEP IT HERE!!!

any Skylark rmx is good though. I don't uderstand the meaning of overplayed anymore. Unless u listen to club246 where there is always DJs playing alotta Skylark rmxs almost every single show then yea i would agree that those tracks are overplayed as well.

they're good songs...whats the problem??? i'll agree that i've heard flashdance played A LOT in the clubs lately...almost always on skybar/the drink, you'll hear it get dropped at some point, but its an awesome song, and my gf loves it. so its cool to me ...i'm very pissed z103 picked it up though...its a good song, z103 doesn't deserve to play a song like that. promoting it to the wrong crowd

Yeah if z103 played good tracks then I'd listen as well. But since their playlist is so damn short I'd find myself getting sick of flashdnace as soon as they'd picked it up as well. That is, if I'd actually listen to their radio station.

Dreams by Sandy Rivera/Kings of Tomorrow. Great track, but I've heard it spun 3 times in one night, sometimes.

Infusion was okay, but I felt they put their set together more for a listening audience than a club-centred dancing audience. There was a lack of a consistent flow and building rhythm in the music they played, and it was difficult to find a groove and stay with it.
