THE HOME OF DJ SPOONZ

Oh wow, what it week it was this week! Three fantastic nights in a row playing solo on Thursday (10pm-3am), midnight to 3am on Friday, and again solo (10pm-3am) on my usual Saturday to a fantastic crowd that was loving it! I received a ton of hot new tracks this week from Release Promo and just joined the Baroque Records Group Promo Pool this week as well, adding to the quality selection of tunes I'm playing every week on Saturdays and now weekly on Thursdays through the summer!

I don't like to rate my tracks in numerical order since it's literally impossible to do with the range of music I play, but I did decide to bring back the "TIP TRACK OF THE WEEK" designation I used to use in my charts years ago (before I got out of the habit of doing so after moving from Madison, WI to Savannah, GA). This will be the indicator of the most well received track of the week, and this week's track blew up two nights in a row, on Friday & Saturday. Not only did the crowd enjoy it, but both nights a fellow DJ and a couple dance music fanatics were all blown away! The beats in this track are tight, the bassline is groovy, and despite being a fairly simple somewhat minimal track that could easily be overlooked, it's got an energy that translates on the floor in a HUGE fashion - much more than I had anticipated!
