We're going to Rotterdam next week, 8th june and I really dont want to miss Swedens opening game on saturday the 10th.
So im wondering if I could get some information about any good sportsbars/centres that possibly might show games from the World Cup.
names, links, addresses would be appriciated.
Thanks!
Hi DylanSwe
I wouldnt be too woried about missing the game. Im not really familiar in Rotterdam but i know there are alot of pubs/cafe's in Rotterdam and chances are pretty big they will show the sweden game(Go Zlatan). Hope you have a good time and that you will enjoy the game (Im not all in favour of sweden because the T&T coach is from Holland )

Thanks Yarnie, Im sure we will.
Ahh.. the T&T coach is from holland, interesting...it sure increases the chance of getting to see the game and hopefully a good atmosphere =)
Still looking for some actual places though, I dont want to wander around ending up missing the game.
I will be traveling with some buddies to Amsterdam and Germany June 13-23 for the World Cup. It begins in 5 days, so my excitement is brimming.
We plan on using Amsterdam as our "home base" and will take side trips into Germany (possibly Munich, Kaiserslautern, Hamburg) to attend games and enjoy the atmosphere. Any TAs out there have any recommendations as to the cheapest method of travel from Amsterdam to Germany?
Thanks in advance.

I'll be in Amsterdam from Aug. 18-22. Are there any good parties going on during this time?
p.s. it doesn't have to be in Amsterdam, as long as its not too far away.
Thanks

Apart from hitchhiking, the train. Not really cheap but decent and international trains from Amsterdam run several times a day.
Pick whatever you like. Nothing really interesting planned in that weekend as of yet, but keep an eye out on that site, since parties are added on a daily basis.
