I enjoyed it
>Alphanoid Tracklist
01 : Ferry Corsten :: Right Of Way <-- I am digging this a good build up but also a good ending track if you ask me I am guessing @ 7:17 is when you transistioned into the next track. I am digging that double lick of the snares sounds phat. Then you fade out around 7:45 Sounds solid with the little notes flying around in the back grounds hehe, Trippy and I have never heard this track you are mixing into So I can totally dig this.
02 : The Disco Brothers :: Come With Us <--- BAD ASS Motha fucking Vocals, I love the message behind the vocals mate. I am listening to this Section for the 3rd time now lol. I totally dig this track. "Every day we reinvent our selfs, to challenge the creativity of life. WE move forward to create our vision, a vision that will blind your mind and free your soul" This is how I feel when mixing, or at least aim to achieve such feelings. Another good track here mate I have not even got to the transition I will make a note. Ahh I found a cue file now lol. So I know when you transistions are. That makes it too easy hehehe. yet again another solid transistion into Green Atlas. I am digging this
03 : Green Atlas :: Circulation <--- Pretty sounds, need to keep the bass a pumping, getting good @ 16:00. I am not a personal fan of breaks in the very beginning of a mix, because the breaks remind me of Trance, and I like to build up to the scene instead of start out with it. Just a personal opinion always worth a Try. Plus you can build the energy in the crowd and make everyone have an eargasm. Seems a bit early for this break in my hummble opinion, but very good track there mate @ 19:12 I am loving this now, This is what helps build the energy. I feel it in the changing bassline not too much in the highs.
20:06 sounds solid mate. Good transistion and when you drop out the track that is good too.
04 : The Tribute :: One More Day <--- I am hoping for some good Vocals here hehe OH shiizzed that build up to 21:42 and then the build up again, sounds sweet I have never heard this track sooo Extra bonus points hehe. Now this is a good break to be showing off here. This would be a track I would prepare for some trance to be unleashed because of the way it builds soo beautifully. haha yeah!!!!!! hmmm I do not like this bass line after that nice build up. . . it sorta took away the trance mood, But this is good because we do not want our listeners to be fully EnTranced by the middle of the set. Suppost to happen @ the end soo again good job there mate.
05 : Triple Seven :: May The Grace <--- hmm The Highs from the last song do not compliment this song To much, it makes me think the energy died down a bit, another good idea for building it back up. This track is not really something I am digging, haha maybe it is because I am curious to see how you mix PVD into it. I do like this womans vocals, the chants are nice to have. Hmmmm What did you use to mix this set up with?? The transistion I did not like
06 : Paul Van Dyk :: Time Of Our Lives <-- we all love PVD next transistion; Nice matching of the basslines, Bringit in baby!! yeAH YEAH!!! YEAH!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOTTTTTTT That fawkin rocks, just some advice on what I would do is to bring up those yeah!!! hAHAHA you just did it @ 32:41; good call man, you are making my anticipate that turning up of the highs lol
07 : G&M Project :: Sunday Afternoon <-- hehe another Vandit record, hmmm whats going on here lol Wick ass tune man hehe. Ihave been listening to this recently
08 : Energy 52 :: Cafe Del Marco <--- I hear this mug coming to affect. sounding good, ohhh nasty man, becareful of that bassline dropping out, it seems like this track lacks energy now. If you would of waiting another 32 counts youc ould of gotten the break then it could of built back up. Hmm this sounds like the bassline has been stripped out yes YES YES This is perfect for a close to the end track, something to let the crowd relaxe and enjoy trance hehehe. This is a bad ass classic and I am going to get this on vinyl if I can ever find it lol. Body is getting the chills WOOOT Good Track
09 : Octagen & Arizona :: Profound <--- So now you come back in with the super bass line Sounds sweet, nice mixing good transistion Calm and relaxing track too enjoying it. Not too much to say about this track other than it is good to play @ the end to build up that energy
10 : CapeTown :: Cinema <--- Getting wicked around 57:19 Setting up for the final hehe you are building up the energy with these last two tracks here I am loving it, the breaks are nice sounds are solid and music is GREAT
I totally enjoyed your entire set, I am gonna burn it to CD for my road trip up to the LAke house. BTW what did you mix this with ??? Vinyl, mp3, CD?
Keep up the good work and keep "Reinventing yourself inside the music, Challenge the creativity of what you can do in this life. Move forward with your vision and help fill the souls around you full of light and energy from your creativity."
