DJ Quicksilver?
You know, I was just wondering.........are there any DJ Quicksilver fans in here?
I, for one....am a fan. I've followed his music from his early times (Bellissima) to current (Clubfiles One)
Now, that kind of music is not cheese, surely.
Among his productions, I love 'Cosmophobia' and 'Alone in the dark' (<- that's the name I think) the most.

I've been following them for many years as well and have noticed that Quicksilver's more recent tracks aren't as unique sounding as what they were back in the mid 90s. The Base Unique tracks they've made over the past few years are horrible, some tracks on the Clubfiles album are ok, some sooo cheesy but overall Clubfiles is OK. Quicksilver is still their best album IMO.
Some of my fav Quicksilver tracks:
Disco Citizens - Footprint (DJ Quicksilver Remix)
DJ Quicksilver - African Rain
DJ Quicksilver - Cosmophobia (R.B. Mix)**
DJ Quicksilver - F.F.M. (Do You Remember)
DJ Quicksilver - New Life (Lacuna Remix)
Dance2Trance - Power Of American Natives (DJ Quicksilver Instrumental)
Faithless - Insomnia (DJ Quicksilver Remix)
Usura feat. DJ Quicksilver - Trance Emotions (DJ Quicksilver Remix)
Usura feat. DJ Quicksilver - Trance Emotions (Emotions Mix)
Watergate - Chi Mai (Ayla Remix)
Watergate - Heart Of Asia (Rising Sun Mix)
Watergate - Heart Of Asia 2003 (Hemstock & Jennings Remix)
Watergate - Terra
** R.B. comes from Richard Burton who starred the original "War Of The Worlds" movie from which the vocals are sampled from. Curd Jürgens does the German translation on C.J. Mix.
Oh btw, if you didn't know.. DJ Quicksilver consists of 2 ppl: Orhan Terzi as also the visible part of DJ Quicksilver and then the other one who actually has bigger part in the production, Tommaso de Donatis.

how could I ever like this track when there is "SHANE 54 - EQUINOXE 4" a remix from jean michel jarre's classic that is definatelly better (more energetic and less cheesy) than quicksilver's interpretation
Quicksilver used to make some quality tracks back in the day.. "Techno macht spass" had a huuuuuge leadsynth.. however he is wellknown for stealing the pizzicato sound from faithless's "insomnia" and then making his own track to the same sound (I have a dream <-- which is actually a pretty decent track)
anyway I havent been following Quicksilver's productions for the past few years (except of course for Equinoxe IV which was kinda hard to ignore since it got a lot of airplay in the radio here) and I dont think I have missed a lot.
well, thats my opinion anyway.
