Mobile Home 31-12-03 feat. Dj Tiesto Review Thread!
Well i thought id start it.
To tell you the truth im speechless.... and that is hard to do to me, but tiesto absolutley owned me last night! the whole night owned me in fact....
with out a doubt was the best Aus party of 2003, so professional, so amazing. Tiesto's set was the best of 2003 for mine, and thats a hard thing for me to say after having been to europe for the party season, but its so true, tiesto tore it up and i didnt know many tracks which meant i wasnt spotting as much hahaha and just enjoying the night!!!
the night was strengthened by having the entire crew practically front row and centre! like about 20 of us all! it was amazing, then the view!! omg the view!! un matched!
Tiesto's set was great, he pulled out all the big names and even 2 tracks no one could id but were simply awsome!!
best moment was halfway throught the set when he dropped delerium - silence, the whoel set untill then had no lasers, then in the breakdown!!! arrrrgh the hit us with the lasers multi colours! it was insane! had ppl crying! see it HERE (thanx to muli and beemer for the vid)
sorry bout the fotos, i was so hammered by the time he started all of the came out blurry and i mean ALL of them!!

What can I say, the man is brilliant in his track selection. Mixing was average but not like anyone cared!
Delerium Silence. My Year is complete.
Jan Johnston Flesh - Mustve missed this encore as we were all scrambling outside to see the Fireworks. SPectacular, the view is AMAZING!.

ahh who cares anyway....i'm now a 100% firm believer that great mixing skills do not a great dj make....he makes amazing music, he gets up there and shows such passion for it....he plays from his heart and does what he loves (despite prob knowin he's not the greatest technically, which is another thing i admire - sumbody who does what they love no matter how great their skills are), he goes out of his way to pay respects to the fans, and he sumhow manages to create an atmosphere like no other......sooo, he's number 1 again for me
