Nice bass - good mastering.. cool synths.. but, again, being that the melody is in major (It's an F-Major Triad to be precise) it just doesn't really go with a hard trance/acid song (which is why I made mine happy hardcore) good stuff though - did you use Rebirth for the TB-303 bass?

Cool

this is pretty cool, the 303s are pretty damn excellent too. i dont think the melody quite works unfortunately, aint really your fault tho. some of the areas sound a bit too heavy and filled, whereas other sections of the mix sound pretty empty, for example when the melody kicks in for the first time it sounds a bit bare, but on the contrary it sounds a bit hectic at the start of the tune, well for that early on it sounds a bit hectic for me . some filter or volume modulation in certain parts as some of the transitions sound a bit too sharp if you know what i mean. the sound is pretty crystal clear and well done. only other thing i can suggest is some perc fuck abouts and random fx, the way shokk used to

Well its the first trance song I've ever completed, so I'm quite happy with it. Thanks for the comments. I agree it could use some kind of intro as it does kind of get right into it.

hi!! really like the intro..

i love acid sounds and these sounds are great!

the kick is also very good

the first 43 secs are the same.. and its kinda boring...

a loved how you change the pitch of the acid melody.. sounds really good..

the melody is fine.. the sounds are also pretty good.. i loved the vocal.. at 3:20 you MOST change the bass or something.. its feeling so dry.. and a little boring..
i loved the beat, excellent snare!

and.. thats all

Yeah, I've made music before. Just not trance. Mainly techno.

A.Y., I hear what you're saying about the bassline. It needs to be a bit juicier hey.

HUGE difference.

Trance dj = PVD, Tiesto, Sasha, etc.
Techno dj = Chris Leibing,Adam Beyer

Have a listen to some of their live sets and you'll see what I mean. Techno is more percussion based, less melody based.

So techno is more progressive then? (more repetative)

Is this your opinion on the difference or is it based off of something? (meaning you can back it up)
