in my opinion its between maradona's infamous dribble against England an Clarence Seedorfs goal from about 40 metres about ( i think its 4 Real Madrid).. it seems to defy all laws of physics.

most beautiful goal for me is Van basten in the final from the European Championship 1988, massive volley over the goalie in the far corner. Made sure that we were the European Champions

I didn't like that goal very much
Nice goal was in the 80's from Uwe Reinders, player from Werder Bremen. He threw in the ball and it counted, cause the goalie touched it with his fingers
Roberto Carlos' goal in La Tornuoi (spl!!). His free kick that bed around the wall with the outside of the boot. It wasnt fluke either, he scored from a corner in similar circumstances, took the corner with the outside of his boot and it flew into the top corner. Fucking class!!!
Would have to say Maradonas against England was a great goal, but in my eyes, that would never have happened if the ref used his eyes to see him punch the ball in the net!
Im sure Pele scored some crackers too!

Like the one where he took the ball from his net and passed most of the 11 players and scored....cant remember what team it was against but i have seen the video of it.....
I must agree Carlos' goal was beautiful. Are you sure it was a corner kick goal though? I though it occured during action on the field. He was chasing a ball that was going out of bounds and kicked it right b4 it went out and put it in.....not sure, might be a different goal we're thinking of.

His free-kick taking prowess has lived off that goal, he's actually shit at scoring from free-kicks, and has only scored a handful since then!
As for best goal, though not real, it would be pele's against the germans in Escape to Victory. Ardiles flicks it over his head and Pele puts the ball in the net with an overhead kick

1. Ronaldo's goal against Compostela (playing with Barcelona in 96), incredible how he takes the ball and goes 50 metres running with the ball "humiliating" his rivals and scoring an epic goal.
2. Maradona's goal agains Inglaterra...... MAGIC!
3. Roberto Carlos free kick against France. (La Bomba Inteligente!). The one you comment in which he shot from nearly the corner was against Tenerife.
4. Zidane's goal against Leverkussen in the Champions League final of 2002.

Maradona's individual run against Vs England 1986
Maradona's hand of God Goal vs England 1986
Michael Owen Vs Argentina 1986
Terry McDermott for Liverpool Vs Tottenham 1978, the seventh goal was all one touch passing from defence to attack, absolutely brilliant, it defined Liverpool's style of pass and move.
Borghetti for Mexico Vs Italy 2002, patient passing and an odd header at the end.
