Summer Calling 4/10
Beautiful Things 7/10
On A High 7/10
Yet Another Day 0/10 <- the worst layering i have ever heard, nto that it was off, but the lyrics ruined suburban train. not that i dont liket he lyrics cause i love yet another day just they were foul over suburban train.

How could you possibly forget that encore??? Push-Strange World (2000 remake)blew the roof off.

I'm almost positive that 1998 had a male vocal track layered on top of it, not BT's lyrics and I know Mindshifter will back me up on that, it's such familiar vocals I just can't place them. Beautiful Things seemed to be the Cor Fijneman remix or maybe a new one, it's not the Photon and I know the track after it was 1998 with the male accapella over it.
8 is Electrique Boutique-Heal (Instrumental)
16=Filo & Peri-Elevation, he played it right after I gave him my Universal Religion jacket to sign
19 was the Marco V mix of Clocks.

I actually quite liked the layering of YAD over Suburban Train, and Summer Calling over Forever Waiting was ace too.

Did you record this set???

BTW we have a review thread in West Coast already for it

I know how sad, i'm a HUGE M.I.K.E. fan too. I came home and tried to remember.

Armin has been layering 'Beautiful Things (Acapella)' over the 2003 Ronski Speed Remix of 'Binary Finary - 1998'. It defenetly wasn't the 'Cor Fijnemand or Photon Project' Mixes. I remeber this very clearly because he also used the lyrics while mixing into 'Motorcycle - As The Rush Comes (Armin Van Buuren 'Universal Religion' Remix)' and then dropped it off as soon as the lyrics to ATRC started to begin.

No I didn't record this set. Would be nice if someone did tho.

There was a guy after the show that asked Armin where he could get this on vinyl

I was like dude it was an acapella, he layered em, then Armin actually said that he was thinking of releasing something, either he was bein serious, or he was just sayin it to get the guy off his back who knows. . . . .

Damn that was a good night, Frenzy owned me so hard, I held up my sign during it and gave him the thumbs up. (I had gone to the DJ booth right as he was starting to arrange his things and showed him a sign that I made that said "Frenzy" on it. He smiled and gave me the thumbs up).

I was surprised at how many times he layered acapella's over other tracks, I knew he did it, but I didnt think it was that frequent in his sets!

BTW mimikish, do you live in Colorado, or did you just come to see Armin?
