Vestax PCV275 vs Behringer DJX700

After doing extensive reading on mixers, I initially decided that I would be gettin the Vestax. HOwever, I have been reading alot of mixed reviews.. some people love it and some really hate it. Yet just today, i checked the new DJX700 and did some searches on it.. nothing really negative about it and that 200 dollar price tag is sexy :P So what would you guys recommend?

I have been trying to decide the same thing. The Djx-700 sounds tempting!

Get them both LOL
na just kiddin, I have the DJX and am very happy with it, it feels good, and the faders EQ and all the other goodies work good and feel good, you can mix with all 4 channells, incase your wondering, and the effects are nice, alltho the echo and delay ones are preset, but you can still use them if your creative.
As for the Vestax, I've heard many good thinks about that mixer aswell, I've never mixed with it but, I've seen it in person, its nice, looks well built, and am sure you can do some sweet mixin on it, my advice would be go try em both and deside that way.
Have fun.

I used the PCV-275 for a good 4 months before buying a DJM-500. The Vestax is built like a rock and great to use. Only gripe I had was the narrow spacing between each column of EQ knobs. Other than that, a great entry level mixer for beginners and/or people looking to get the most bang for their buck. I just fell in love with the DJM-600 after using it one day and decided to go with its cheaper (and almost identical) sibling in the 500.

On a side note, I still have my 275 for sale if anyone is interested.

I can't believe this is even an issue!

Definitely get the PCV-275, it is of much higher quality. All of the new DJ mixers by Behringer are of questionable quality; my *1* year old VMX-300 already has several flaws to it, bleeding faders and knobs, etc.

The PCV-275 is a quality box. You won't regret it.

I say if you can afford it, go Vestax . . . like everyone says, the Behringer is a "remake" of the Pioneer, and the fact that there's even doubts about its quality is a dead giveaway. The Vestax is the real deal, if you want the features, you might have to save up for the Pioneer.

I'd go with the Behrigner... I got a VMX-200 for 170 bux about 4 months ago... and i love it... no corrssfader/fader/eqs leaks (yet) works great feels great and looks pretty good... i love it

Id go with DJX700

Behringer is pretty good for its price... so if u wanna save money, and get a quality mixer go for Behringer...dont get Vestax...my friends whos got Vestax have too many problems with Vestax mixers

Well I decided to save some money and went with the DJX700. However, since this is my first mixer, I won't have much perspective when it comes to judging its performance.
