Got into Guv around 2:15 w/ Kaitracid & his roommate, Tim. Place was pretty packed- SARS wasn't keeping anyone away last nite. Lucien was already on- I really enjoyed his set. Tunes we heard were "Nobody Listens to Techno", "Sunshine"- Filterheads, "Clocks" (above& beyond mix), and "La La Land" mixed w/ Trisco- Musak. When he was done, he came down to check out the scene on the floor- chatted with him for a while, then we went up to the booth to see Mark. Mark went from prog to some seriously hard bangin' shit for a while- I was surprized. Then back to some lighter trance, including PVD's "Nothing But But You" Being totally sober, and totally lacking in sleep all month, my body started to shut down. I just wanted to sleep. I got back up on the dance floor and toughed it out til the end tho.

Shout outs to the boys I went with, as well as Tordan, Loconet, Shaya, TrueToTheCrew, DietCocaine, Pershaw (crap, I can't remember your damn screen name!!!)
I'm BEYOND tired- going to bed for the rest of the day, I hope.

Now, here's a little something of interest. After I got home, I went and looked up Lucien's website, and found out this bit of info about him, and am I EVER kicking myself for not knowing this beforehand:

My 1st live electronic show/ act was back in '91 when we went to see "Quadrophonia" performed live!!!! If I'd only known this last night, I would've given him a huge solidarity hug or kiss!!!!

Amazing night!!!.

Got to guv at around 1:00am, got in pretty quickly. As soon as we got into the main room party started. You could feel the vibe & the crowd was at its best.

Not packed but with enough people to make it an awsome party.

Lucien Foort, I normally don't listen to that type of music but damn ..he kept me dancing!!

Mark Oliver .. damn, what can I say . he delivers every fuckin time I hear him.

We went up to the drink to checkout the vibe there, and damn..the place was goin nuts as well. Nice house/progressive tunes gettin dropped, lots of friendly people

Came back to Guv, BOOM ... Mark is throwing some sickkk trance, I had to go down and dance morrreeee.

Earlier in the night I turned around and was happy to see a familar face.. TATGIRL!! hehe .. nice to see u and party with you again.

Shout-outs to the other TAs (sorry, dont remember nickanmes ), and specially to the Alk Crew.. you kids ROCK!

actually there were two, Manzone and Strong, they play together... you're right, they everyone at there jumping, I couldn't stay long up there though, the over crowdedness got to me after a bit...

im kicking myself in the ass for missing this one.......lucien only comes to toronto and new york like twice a year and hes one of my favs....
