Hey Mushi, you should make a small stand for the 2 CDJ's hovering over the mixer.
I have teh same issue.. wide mixer, two 1200s and my CDJs are miles away from my mixer. How does one make a stand that puts teh CDJs over the mixer? i have a Grundorf DJ table so it doesn't have too much space behind it to fit a CDJ facing you, so it would have to be angled downwards..

Well, mushi's tabletop has depth to it, so there is room behind it to make a sort of pedistal for the CDJ's. You could get a round cyclindric piece of wood with a 3" diameter and 1 ft. long, put a piece of 3/4" plywood on top, and vwalla.

yeah I know, that would have been a much smarter solution but I dont have the money too buy one now. I know that sefour makes a cool cd deck stand but its so god damn expensive
Besides, I dont spin cd`s that much, its mostly vinyl for me so the cd decks being so far apart aint a problem for me.

rich bastard!
I was stoked on whether to buy myself 2xtechincs and a mixer or save up for a Nad c372 (integrated amp) + nad c542 (cd player) + a set of b&w tower speakers. After much contemplation I realized the TTs would be A LOT CHEAPER and a lot more practical for now. Anyways, my nad audiophile setup is next on my list. Just don't know when I can afford that shit! My ultimate is goal is to have a room with a simple comfotable single couch facing a nice cabinet with my nad component setup (power amp/preamp/cd player) with two tower speakers standing next to it....

Half of it is not wired up yet- lol
Fully fledged recording studio- yes folks...im out of retirement- more info soon!
(all those gaps are now crammed with 12"s post taking the picture)
Who said buying vinyl wasnt addictive
