Your trip sucked because you failed to convert people and find followers. You were in Asia Minor, for Christ's sake, it was perfect!
Don't fight destiny, Cliff, you were made to be a messiah!

You're not fat, you've got the power of God within you. All you've got to do is release it. Just make sure you're releasing only the power of God... we all know what happens when it goes wrong.
(And don't let the trolls bother you. Just send them to hell. You know you can)

Actually atm I am pretty happy in the progress I am making body shape wise. It just took crippling depression to get me off my ass and working out!

Haha, I don't regret it and I wasn't really tired or anything (I walked more in Japan the year before, in the cold, with one of the worst head colds/soar throats I've ever had in my entire life), but our extended family got there 3 days after us so we'd already had 3 days non-stop of walking around Istanbul, so their pace was a little bit more upbeat than ours.
Also I don't know, maybe I am a shitty traveler, but once I get the gist of someplace, most of its just bonus material. Like I found Efes and the other ruins we visited fairly boring. Seen one set of ruins, seen most of all of them if they are from the same people.
agree with you about ruins
unless its wonder of the world shit ive seen enough im not into it

Yea, my dad and his sisters were like "OMG THE RUINS AMAZING".
They are impressive to look at, some at least, but Efes could easily be an hour stroll instead of the like 2 1/2 hours it takes if you stop and read every little placard.
On the other hand, the amount of incredibly attractive german and russian tourists seems to be rather high at these sort of things!
