Awesome shots indeed! I think they're incredibly balanced....... something I've yet to achieve properly.
I know it's a ball-ache, but if you could post the camera settings as well, it would be most useful to newbs like me.
I currently have a Sony NEX-7 with a 15-55ml Lens (can't remember the app size)...... I can get some great shots out of it, but it takes me a while due to playing around with the settings, so any additional information to help steer me in the right direction, would be greatly appreciated
That NEX-7 is a great camera. I have Canon EOS 1100D, Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM lens and Velbon Sherpa 603R II tripod with QHD-53D ballhead.
But IMO, gear doesn't matter. Think how cool masterpieces Picasso and others made only with brushes. I think this mentality goes with photography aswell. It's all about how YOU see the stuff that is out there, and how well you can capture the moment. You can do this eg. phone (most of them have good cams, but ppl just don't understand the opportunities), or old camera. I started w/ Sony Bloggie, which had a crappy camera.
With Bloggie, I was starting to understand composition, leading lines and all kind of stuff - and I didn't had teachers. You can learn so much from the web, and it's totally free!
