That's the only point I attempted to make from the beginning. |
I know that, but the whole time i've been offering and alternative to your belief, and you've failed to grasp or appreciate it, so at this stage, I cbf re-hashing... I laid out my argument fairly clearly, and multiple times and you still disagree, or don't understand (saying i'm an idiot etc), which is fine, so we'll have to agree to disagree
pants party (while i'm anchormanning, why not??)

An assumption that someone is stupid because they have lame tattoos on their forearm is shallow. The person could very well be intelligent.
An assumption that an obese person has lifestyle habits both causing and stemming from insecurity and laziness could be shallow, but more often than not isn't. Fatness is an accumulation of poor decisions which becomes a walking display of how you live. |
Again, I laid out an argument why this is fallacious previously... Basing any judgement of a person on their physical appearance is always idiotic imo.
Hal made the same argument as you've just made, and i noted that weight is different for every person, and assuming that all physical realities stem from the same source in every person is pretty silly.
social and genetic factors are the most important, but then there's simply the individual shit which makes us all different...ignoring all of this insanely intricate shit (which is different for every person) and just saying: "fat people are lazy lolz" is entirely shallow, since you have no understanding of why x person is fat.
I'm extremely skinny despite a diet heavy in fats and carbs and crap: 99% of people would BE gilbert-grape's-mum-level fat, but I am not. from your perspective bad diet, and laziness works the same on every individuals body...??
hahahaha that definitely sounded like i'm defending fatties, but really i'm just not sure how you can claim something that is entirely shallow isn't...?
at least admit you're just being shallow, and hate fat people for X shallow reason: Don't pretend like it's because of some deep social consciousness which makes you a good person.
