Yeah they're pretty cute, always sitting next to each other. I called him Charlie after Sir Charles Kingsford Smith and her Amelia after Amelia Earhar, famous pilots lol.
What's funny is I'm out at work right now and they are everywhere out here.

LOL, the pilot thing is cool. Do you get any Gouldian finches out where you work? Those things look fucking rad.

Maybe, I haven't seen any of them though yet. I've seen thousands of Zebras and a few of these (red-browed finches?)
Just googled that pic

You'd definitely notice the Gouldians if you saw them, they look like this (not my pic)
My local butcher here actually breeds them, which is pretty cool. Has like 60 of them.
And yeah, happy birthday

Thanks!
I've seen some colourful birds out here but I think they are wild budgies, not those finches. Those are pretty though.

My mum keeps a few and tries to breed them, but they just don't seem to get along with each other.

The keybox for the mailman has been broken at my building for the last two and a half months now (a temp delivery person broke the key off in the lock). Finally this morning someone came to fix it. I went to get the mail and I saw the "fix".
That is the key to the building just sitting there open to the world...

That looks like a building I know, is it in the middle of Capitol Hill?
