Ummm, I'm going to assume you're having an off day because you've completely interpreted everything wrong and that's rather uncharacteristic of you. I literally just said I was already in the process of talking to various people in the industry and quite actively if I might add.
There is nobody that can say they are more switched on than I am when it comes to career planning and constant networking. No one.
Hell, the main reason I went into pharma was because of the career path.
All I said was it's just been under a year and I was straight out of uni, so I didn't have the luxury of going in all guns blazing like most people with at least some full time experience, though that is rapidly changing and anyone that speaks with me face to face can see that. It's not a coincidence that as the youngest person in my national team and possibly the company, I'm being pushed into leadership roles far quicker than most people. It just takes a bit of time, but I'm on top of it.
Don't give me that "speech/lecture" crap. I hear it enough from unambitious 30/40 year olds already.
